Souffl_ Beads are delicate hollow blown-glass beads, named after the French word “souffl_,” meaning “puffed” or “inflated.”
Originally produced around the 1940s, these rare beads were used in haute couture embroidery and decorative applications, carrying a distinctive retro and antique character.
Each softly luminous glass bead, still gently shining after decades, is individually assembled in an atelier in Yamanashi into a necklace so lightweight you may forget you are wearing it, while radiating an elegant glow.
These parts, preserved as deadstock for over 80 years, are given a new story through contemporary craftsmanship.
※Due to the delicate nature of these pieces, comparable to ultra-thin glassware, please avoid applying strong pressure.
Please also avoid storing the item in contact with other silver accessories, as friction may cause scratches or damage.
